Green Gram Dosai or Upma Pesarettu is a popular breakfast in Andhra Pradesh. This part of India is usually famous of spicy pickles and chutneys. This Pesarettu / Mung Bean dosai is generally served alongside Semolina Upma and Ginger Chutney. A filling & healthy breakfast too.
I have made different proportions of Pesarettu batter. Of all the combinations I have tried I prefer this 3:1 turns out perfectly everytime. 3 portions of Mungbeans and one portion of Idli Rice is all you need. You can also add Fenugreek seeds and a tbsp Urad dal if you want to while soaking. They add a good taste and texture to the batter. With the following measurement 15-18 medium size dosais can be made. I have prepared peanut chutney as a sidedish. You could serve this with Ginger Chutney, Onion Tomato Chutney , Garlic Powder or sambar
