  1. Mix the flours together with yogurt, salt and by slowly adding water prepare a batter
  2. Rest the batter for 10-15 minutes. This step is totally optional. I feel resting the batter helps in flipping the dosa easily and it doesn’t get stuck in the Tawa
  3. Heat a tsp oil in the Dosa Tawa
  4. Add onions, curry leaves, hing. Saute until onions become mild pink in color
  5. Add salt, chilli powder to the batter
  6. Add the sauteed onions
  7. Mix everything together and start making the Cheelas/Dosais
  8. Once the side is cooked, flip it over to other
  9. After a minute or two remove the cheela from tawa and serve it with Chutney of your choice
