For Tempering
Instructions
  1. Finely chop onions, tomatoes and capsicum
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan and add mustard seeds, jeera seeds
  3. Let them splutter
  4. Add finely chopped ginger-garlic pieces and onions to the pan
  5. Saute for a minute. Later add in the chopped veggies, dry masala powders one by one
  6. Sprinkle little water (about 1tbsp) , close the pan
  7. Let the veggies get cooked for 5 minutes
  8. At last add the grated halloumi cheese and mix it thoroughly with masala
  9. Adjust salt,spice. Halloumi bhurji is ready to be served
  10. Garnish it with dried fenugreek leaves or fresh herbs.
  11. I prepared roti, pan fried egg plant as well yesterday along with this yummy halloumi bhurji. It was a such a filling dinner
