Instant Oats Ragi Oothapam
This healthy Oats Ragi Oothapam can be made within 20 minutes. The batter requires no fermentation. This easy instant dosai can also be served as an after school snack for the kids.

  1. Grind a cup of Oats in a dry mixie jar and transfer the Oat flour to a bowl
  2. Add Ragi Flour, Flax Seed Powder and Yogurt
  3. Add water and prepare batter
  4. In a pan saute the onions, grated carrot, capsicum with a pinch of salt,turmeric and other spice powders
  5. Mix the veggies to the batter. Add Frozen peas and remaining salt
  6. The batter might look slightly thicker after 10 minutes. You can add little water and mix it well
  7. We are not going to pour the batter like we do for regular dosai. Instead we will be spreading the batter using the back side of a spoon or ladle
  8. Heat Dosai Tawa or a Pan and add the batter
  9. Spread it like a thick circular Oothapam
  10. Drizzle oil on sides and close the pan for a minute
  11. Once the side is cooked flip the Oothapam and let it get cooked on the other side for 1 minute
  12. Delicious Instant Oats Ragi oothapam is ready to be served
  13. You can serve it with Chutney or Sambar too based on your preference
