Instructions
  1. Take a wide bowl and add all the dry ingredients except Oil
  2. Use your fingers and incorporate butter to the flour mixture
  3. Take one cup of water and slowly add water little by little to the bowl. Don’t add all at once
  4. Bring the dough together. It will look like this. It has to be mildy sticky. Don’t add more rice flour to remove stickiness. The Ribbon Pakoda will become harder
  5. Now take handful of dough and place it in the Murukku Press
  6. Use the plate that has horizontal lines on it
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan
  8. Start making the Ribbon Pakoda. Place the murukku press slightly higher above the oil pan and start squeezing it
  9. Make one at a time
  10. Wait until both the sides turn golden brown
  11. Once the bubble stops coming on the hot oil you can remove the Pakoda from oil
  12. Delicious, light Ribbon Pakoda is ready
