Toor Dal Rice
If you are in a hurry and you have to make a quick lunch box meal then this dal rice comes handy. It takes only 15 minutes using least amoun of ingredients. Lets check the preparation. The following measurement serves two. Use equal amount of rice and toor dal. For one cup of rice + toor dal

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a tava. Add mustard seeds, urad dal,jeera and channa dal
  2. Let it splutter
  3. Add curry leaves, green chilles to it
  4. Chop the onions and tomatoes. Add them to tava
  5. Now add turmeric powder,salt to the mixture
  6. Saute for about minutes.Atlast add corrainder leaves to this 4 5
  7. Now take a thick bottomed vessel which is normally used for cooking rice. Add dal and rice. Use required amount of water
  8. To this add the sauteed mixture.Mix well
  9. Keep them in pressure cooker and wait for upto 4 whistles
  10. Dal and rice would have been cooked completely with other ingredients
  11. Dal rice is ready to served with Pappad or pickle
