Instant Oats Idli
This Instant Oats Idli doesn’t require Semolina or Baking Soda. Healthy and delicious recipe and it is diabetic friendly too.

For Chutney
Instructions
Preparation of Idli
  1. Grind Oats to a fine powder
  2. Take a bowl and add all the dry flours and a pinch of salt
  3. Add Yogurt and using a Whisk or a spoon mix them together
  4. Add approximately 1/2 cup water to make the flour mixture to a slightly thick batter
  5. Add lemon juice
  6. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds,curry leaves, urad dal. Let them splutter
  7. Add veggies, chilli powder, salt and saute them well
  8. Now mix the veggies into the batter
  9. Grease Idli Plates with oil and pour the batter
  10. Steam for approximately 5-6 minutes
  11. Using a fork or toothpick check if the Idlis are cooked well
  12. Then remove Oats dlis from steamer and serve them hot with chutney or sambar
Desiccated Coconut Chutney
  1. Grind Coconut, roasted gram, red chilli together
  2. Add 1/4 cup water, salt and hing. Grind again until you get a smooth creamy mixture
  3. Add more water if you want a runny chutney
  4. Adjust salt and add Tadka with Mustard Seeds, Curry Leaves and Urad Dal
